Michele Kimpton is a globally recognized executive leader, consultant, and SCORE mentor with over 25 years of experience founding, scaling, and guiding national non-profit organizations. She has served in executive leadership and CEO roles across prominent 501(c)(3) entities, including the DSpace Foundation, DuraSpace, the Digital Public Library of America (DPLA), and the Internet Archive. Recognized as a Digital Preservation Pioneer by the Library of Congress, she brings extensive experience in multi-stakeholder partnerships, board development, and operational scaling. Through SCORE and her consulting work, Michele mentors non-profit leaders on early-stage organization structuring, active board engagement, fundraising, and building sustainable operations.
