Jan Glassman

For more than 30 years, Jan Glassman has been advising small businesses in matters concerning contracts, general corporate, employment, lending, insurance, real estate, litigation, regulatory compliance, alternative dispute resolution and human resources. Her background includes day-to-day, real-time counseling to senior and middle-management on a wide variety of these issues.

Ms. Glassman is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts, Florida and Ohio. From 1996 to 2011, she was General Counsel of American Management Services, a national management consulting firm, also serving as Senior Vice President and Director for most of that time. She began her career with Judicial Clerkships in Ohio and Boston and later worked as a litigation associate in the Boston-area law firms of Burns & Levinson and Mofenson & Nicoletti.

Ms. Glassman currently is a member of the American Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts, The Florida Bar, and the Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE), and she was long affiliated with the Association of Corporate Counsel and the New England Labor Counsel. Ms. Glassman also actively participates in SBANE’s CEO Dialogue and the Women’s Business Council, and is a member of the Board of Directors of Temple Reyim in Newton, Massachusetts. In September 2013, Ms. Glassman was selected as a Fellow in the 2013-2014 Startup Leadership Program, a highly selective, world-class training program for outstanding founders and innovators.
