GAYLE PIRAINO
Gayle Piraino is the Founder and President of GAP Promotions, LLC, a full-service promotional products, display and creative services agency servicing many leading brands in the beverage and food industries. GAP Promotions is proud to partner with such well-regarded clients as MillerCoors, Diageo, Yuengling Brewery, Heaven Hill Distilleries, Sysco Foods and many more. GAP Promotions is located in downtown Gloucester inside the historic Blackburn Tavern Building and has grown to include 12 full-time and a number of part-time team members.
Ms. Piraino launched her company in 2006 with over 23 years of retail management experience with both Filene’s and Filene’s Basement. She acquired her love for retail while in high school from her first job in gift wrap. Following college she rose through the ranks and held several positions that ranged from Store Management to Buying and her last position as District Management. Ms. Piraino’s experience in the promotional products industry began when she went to work for a small promotional products business and later assisted someone in starting a new merchandise and apparel company, where she remained for 10 years before moving into the Director of Marketing position for Yuengling Brewery.
Ms. Piraino received her Associates Degree in Fashion Merchandising from Endicott College and maintains a close relationship with the College. In 2012, Ms. Piraino was awarded with Endicott College’s prestigious Alumni of the Year Award and she also currently serves as a Member of the College’s Alumni Board and also as a Trustee of the Endicott. GAP employs a number of Endicott graduates, has hosted 15 semester-long Endicott interns, and will be hosting several more for the fall, 2015 semester.
Ms. Piraino also attributes her success to consulting and training resources provided by the Enterprise Center at Salem State University, SCORE, WBENC, The Socol Group (former Filene’s Chairman) and the Endicott College Center for Leadership.
When Ms. Piraino is not running her company, she enjoys spending time with her family traveling to golf tournaments, baseball parks or simply relaxing, gardening or playing an occasional round of golf.
