Daniel has over 16 years of experience advising business owners, start-ups, artists, and creators on recognizing and legally protecting their valuable intangible assets.
Daniel was born in Evanston, Illinois. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bowling Green State University and a J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law. He is a licensed attorney in Massachusetts and New York, and licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Prior to opening the law firm of New England Patent & Trademark, Daniel worked at intellectual property law firms in midtown Manhattan and downtown Boston. He has helped hundreds of clients on thousands of intellectual property projects.
Daniel has designed his presentation for a basic understanding of intellectual property rights. He has identified and incorporated common pitfalls commonly overlooked, and false assumptions often held by the public on trademarks and copyrights.
