Daniel N. Smith

Daniel has over 16 years of experience advising business owners, start-ups, artists, and creators on recognizing and legally protecting their valuable intangible assets.

Daniel was born in Evanston, Illinois. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bowling Green State University and a J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law. He is a licensed attorney in Massachusetts and New York, and licensed to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Prior to opening the law firm of New England Patent & Trademark, Daniel worked at intellectual property law firms in midtown Manhattan and downtown Boston. He has helped hundreds of clients on thousands of intellectual property projects.
