Gary Jaffarian is president and CEO of Haverhill-based Jaffarian Volvo Toyota Scion, an award-winning family owned business spanning four generations and more than 75 years. Like the generations before him, Gary manages the business with an unwavering commitment to upholding “the Jaffarian Way:” treating customers with great care and respect and delivering an unprecedented level of service and support. Understanding how frustrating the car buying process can be, Gary strives to be a “friend in the car business” to his customers and the public at large. Through his informative blog, the educational speeches he gives at chambers and rotaries, and just talking to him in-person, Gary helps adults and young drivers learn the importance of driving safely, make informed decisions about buying vs. leasing, and become more knowledgeable about proper vehicle maintenance. Another differentiator is Jaffarian’s commitment to generously giving back to the Merrimack Valley community, particularly in the area of organized sports for youth. The legacy began with Gary’s grandfather and remains stronger than ever under Gary’s leadership.

Gary lives in Haverhill, attended Northern Essex Community College and earned a B.S. degree in marketing from Merrimack College. He has a son, Gavin, and a daughter, Mara -- both of whom are the fourth generation to work at the dealership, learning and contributing to the business that their great-grandparents started years ago as a filling station on River Street
