This open forum, led by Francois Gadenne, RIIA, is designed specifically for all financial advisors who are working with clients approaching, or already in, retirement. While RMA Advisor Groups are held at other approved Universities that teach the RMA, the groups are “chapterized”…only Salem State is honored to have Francois Gadenne as their group leader.
The Retirement Management Analyst (RMA) designation is a rigorous educational and ethics training curriculum that teaches financial advisors the Retirement Income Industry Association (RIIA) advisory process to provide successful retirement income solutions to clients. Held each summer, at Salem State University, this program goes beyond the basics of retirement rules or investments that are covered in many other traditional venues. The graduates of the RMA program attend weekly teleconference study groups, where they discuss current client situations, in relation to the RMA curriculum.
Now, these study groups are open to you! You don’t have to be a graduate of the RMA program to attend – these forums are open to all Advisors! Each group meets four times, over the course of 4 weeks, to review challenging situations in light of the RMA curriculum. You can attend by teleconference, or attend in person, at the Enterprise Center at Salem State University. We encourage you to attend in person, as those who do will receive copies of relevant material, including printed copies of the Retirement Management journal, the RMA Update Bulletins, etc.
Feel free to bring questions you might have with regard to your own clients’ situation to the table….no names or personal information, please, and benefit by learning relevant, practical, and innovative solutions to the most challenging retirement issues. This lively group can be extended to two hours (at no additional cost) should a particular week’s discussion warrant further exploration.
Who Should Attend: RMA graduates, as well as CPAs, CFPs, tax planners, investment advisors, investment planners, retirement planners, registered investment advisors, defined contribution consultants, defined contribution advisors, brokers, and insurance agents.
The Advisors Group workshops are led by Francois Gadenne, chairman and executive director of the Retirement Income Industry Association (RIIA)
