Here’s your opportunity to have breakfast with a million dollar business woman! Share your ideas, get advice, hear solutions. Each breakfast is limited to 20 people.
Wendi Goldsmith founded Bioengineering Group in 1992, with the mission “Building sustainable communities on an ecological foundation”. A professional geologist leading an interdisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and landscape architects, she inspired and guided projects that proved green approaches could save money, serve people, and support habitats.
Projects spanned restoring shorelines at the iconic Walden Pond state park, designing New England’s largest stormwater management wetland in Cambridge, and leading the effort to design New Orleans’ new $14 billion infrastructure system built after Katrina based on sound climate change science.
After over two decades of success, with numerous awards related to project achievements and business recognition, and serving as an effective advocate for women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields, she sold the business to Chester Engineers.
She continues to advocate for sustainable and climate resilient design and the important role many women play in shaping actions in their communities.
