Bruce Share has been the Managing Director and Cash Flow Solutionist™ at Share Business Growth Strategies, LLC. since 1993. He is an expert in maximizing Cash Flow using Business Plans, Budgets, and Monitoring as his primary tools. He also prepares, produces, and helps owners implement effective Business Plans. Bruce has a growing network of professionals in virtually all business categories, which, when appropriate, he will refer to his clients with specific needs. He has a number of strategic relationships with companies which provide bank and non-bank financing options, as well as with expense and tax-savings opportunities. Bruce’s new book “Maximizing Cash Flow – The Path to Prosperity” was published in October 2021 and is targeted to entrepreneurs and small business owners, as well as companies with cash flow or growth issues they need to address. The book is available online in paperback and eBook formats.
Bruce’s consulting practice focuses on entrepreneurs, small and early-stage businesses, non-profits, and ongoing businesses with Cash Flow or growth issues. His first client was the Government of Kuwait, which hired Bruce to author and present a 5-day seminar to the Kuwaiti banking industry to help them recover after liberation from the Iraqi occupation. Bruce continues to present his small business seminars on a variety of subjects for the SBDC Northeast Region, The Enterprise Center at Salem State University, and independently. He teaches an 8-session custom designed seminar titled “How to Start Your Own Business and Make It Successful” for Keefe at Night, the Adult Education Program in Framingham. He has been a guest speaker to entrepreneurship and finance classes at Babson College, Boston College, Bentley University, Dean College, Northern Essex Community College, and Fisher College. Bruce facilitated a nationwide conference call on “Maximizing Cash Flow as You Scale Your Business” to graduates of Interise’s Streetwise MBA™ Program, and he taught International Management to juniors at Fisher College.
For almost 22 years at Bank of Boston, Bruce held a variety of key financial positions, and was a senior level financial and administrative manager for multibillion-dollar domestic and international strategic business units. During the real estate depression of 1989-1991, he was one of three Strategic Planning Officers who successfully facilitated and developed a new Corporate Strategic Plan for Bank of Boston Corporation, which was approved by the Board of Directors.
Bruce has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Long Island University, plus an MBA and a Certificate in Advanced Management from Babson College. He has been a Business Plan evaluator in Babson’s Graduate and Undergraduate Business Plan competition for over 20 years and was a Coach in Babson’s Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program. For 6 years, Bruce was Secretary of the Defeat Diabetes Foundation of St. Petersburg, Florida, as well as Secretary of its Board of Directors and the Finance Committee. He was a Board member of his condominium association in Boston for 8 years with a focus on financial management and was recently appointed to the Finance Committee and Investment Subcommittee of his condominium association in Florida. He has also provided pro-bono work for a number of non-profit organizations.
