Cloud computing is the fastest growing deployment model for business applications globally. Initially an abstract concept in the mid-1990’s it now a $62B industry expected to grow to $162B by 2020. Yet it is still widely misunderstood. What is it? Where is it? How does it work? And how will I get there? These are all questions many business owners, executives, and line-of-business managers ask themselves and their business partners as the age of “Digital Transformation” moves into full swing. In our workshop we’ll explore and discuss the various types of “Clouds” in use in today’s business environment, how they’re used, what applications are available in the cloud, and provide some real-world examples of business that have moved to the cloud and why. | FREE
