Nancy’s technical HR knowledge and excellent client relationship skills are paramount in her client delivery. With 20 years experience as a Human Resources Generalist in varying industries and size organizations, Nancy is an invaluable resource to her clients. She has worked with companies with very mature Human Resources infrastructures, such as Ernst & Young LLP and Random House, Inc., as well as start up companies, such as SmartTime Software, where she helped lay the building blocks for a successful organizational and HR philosophy, while ensuring federal and state compliance.
Whether she is tackling a difficult employee relations issue, training clients or researching a new federal law, Nancy takes on challenges eagerly and always engages herself fully. Nancy gains the trust of her clients and facilitates positive outcomes that advance organizations in the right direction. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and a Masters of Education from Vanderbilt University. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and the Northeast Human Resource Association.
Sheila Scott is a Human Resource Consultant on Insight’s Account Management team. Sheila is a seasoned HR Professional with more than seventeen years of experience and a concentration in Employee Relations, Communications and Benefits. Sheila has a flawless attention to detail and knowledge of HR programs and policies which puts her clients at ease.
Prior to joining Insight, Sheila was most recently the Human Resources Manager at Wandrian, Inc. a technology company. At Wandrian, Sheila was a trusted business partner creating best practices and organizational efficiencies. Sheila crafted and published HR policies and procedures created and delivered Wandrian’s first corporate performance management system, managed recruitment and selected and implemented benefits. Previously, Sheila was a Senior Human Resources Consultant at IBM Corporation’s Software Group and Lotus Development Corporation. Her progressive leadership roles at IBM and Lotus spanned all functional aspects of human resources programs including merger integration and talent retention projects. Sheila was a sought after business partner providing advice, counsel and problem solving to a worldwide development organization including ten executives, eighty managers and over 1,000 employees.
Sheila holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Saint Michael’s College in Winooski, VT.
