The Enterprise Center at Salem State University
The Continuing Education Institute for Accountants is a ten-week program aimed, not only to meet the continuing Education requirements of Attorneys, SPAs, EAs and other who represent taxpayers before the IRS but to inform others who are interested in the latest developments in Federal and State taxes. the program will meet the ethics CPE requirements of both the IRS and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Instructors are CPA’s, EAs and Attorneys from the private sector as well as recently retired IRS and DOR agents. The program will start on Monday, September 23 at 7 pm, a the Enterprise Center at Salem State University, Central Campus, in the Sullivan Training Room. Seating is limited. NOTE: A Parking permit will be emailed to registered participants before the first class meeting.
REFUND POLICY: 100% refund before the first class meeting. 50% before the second class meeting. No refunds after the second class meeting. In the case of a Salem State Online class, 100% refund before the scheduled start date. No refunds once the Salem State Online class begins. Earl Bean is a graduate of Boston University with a BS in BA - majoring in Accounting and minoring in Fiance and Business Law. In addition, he received a MBA from Suffolk University. Earl has been a CPA for over forty years. In addition to his affiliation with Salem, Earl is the Senoir Adjunct Instructor
of Accounting at North Shore Community College and Technical Coordinator for the University of Massachuttes Amherst Tax School.
After spending thirty-eight years with the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Agent, Appeals Officer as well as a judicator, Earl joined the firm of Bean, Hatzis and Associates which specializes in representing clients before the IRS and DOR.
