Ed Payne is the Principal of The CI Collaborative, LLC., a Competitive Intelligence Consultancy based on the North Shore. He has over 20 years of experience working with clients in various industries, including consumer goods, hospitality, biotechnology, life sciences, business services, and chemicals.
His current work is helping clients develop their own CI functions including SWOT analysis, Go to Market Strategy Development, Scenario planning, War Gaming and CI Process consulting.
Ed started his career in politics developing opposition briefings for US Senate candidates. After leaving politics, Ed moved on to develop two early warning systems, one in staffing (Cross Country Staffing) and another in IT consultancy (Giga Information Group). Most recently, Ed was a Director with Fuld + Company, a pioneer in competitive intelligence consulting.
Ed holds a BA in Political Science from Denison University.
