Are you the owner of a small business looking to grow? Do you have an idea for a new business but don’t know how to get started? We at the Enterprise Center have resources that can help budding entrepreneurs like you hit the ground running.

Located at Salem State University, we advocate for the North Shore small business community. We act as a leader in helping businesses in the region grow and welcome entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals of all ages and experience levels to take advantage of our services.

Workshops

Sometimes the best way to learn is to step into a classroom and learn from an expert. This is what our in-person workshops offer. These workshops are great learning and enrichment opportunities for small business owners. You’ll get up to speed on current and important topics every entrepreneur needs to know to grow their business.

Topics vary by individual workshop, but they’re always relevant and led by others in the business community. You’ll learn about making a business plan, tips for website design and content, community outreach, hiring and managing, and more. It’s also a great way to network with fellow local entrepreneurs. You can brainstorm together, make business connections, and make yourself known within the community.

Office Space for Rent

A lot of small businesses start out of a home office, but as your business grows, so does your need for space. But finding office space that fits your needs and budget is tricky. You need accessibility, decent amenities, and convenience.

If you’re looking for office space in Salem, we can help with that. We lease office space right in the Enterprise Center! Within our 53,000 square foot building, we offer office spaces for one or two people or we have larger spaces with individual offices for you and your employees. You’ll benefit from competitive rental rates, free use of conference rooms, copier and fax machines, and public Wi-Fi. Best of all, you’ll have direct access to our free programs and the ability to network with the hundreds of businesses owners that visit every year.

CEO Groups

Speaking of networking, there are few things more important than meeting like-minded individuals to brainstorm with. A good business owner knows the importance of having peers who will support you and understand the unique issues you face.

This is why you should consider joining a CEO Group. Made up of 8-10 business owners/CEOs and a professional facilitator, these groups meet up once a month for three hours to solve problems, share stories, and bounce ideas off of each other. Private, confidential, and extremely beneficial, the professional facilitator will make sure everyone gets the chance to contribute to the discussion. You could meet future business partners, mentors, and even life-long friends in one of these groups!

If you want to make it in the business world, you need to know what resources are at your fingertips. However, what’s more important than knowing is acting and taking advantage of them. Contact us today to discover more ways the Enterprise Center can help you grow your business.
