Welcome to the 2016 North of Boston Business Plan Competition
About the competition: If you have a business idea, a company less than three years old, or an established business with a new strategic direction located on the North Shore, consider entering our annual competition.
Entering the competition is a win/win proposition. You need visibility, funding, and the feedback and advice of regional business leaders. We want to fuel regional economic development by identifying and encouraging businesses to start, stay, and grow north of Boston.
This is an important competition for the regional business community, and a great opportunity for young start-ups and new entrepreneurs. Now in its 11th year, the NBBPC has served as an impetus for many companies—not just the winners—to craft an effective strategy and obtain the critical support they need to move forward successfully.
If you have a business idea, a company less than three years old, or an established business with a new strategic direction, enter the North of Boston Business Plan Competition. You stand to win:
- Cash prizes – First place, $10,000. Second place, $5,000. Third place, $3,000.
- Advice – Valuable feedback and suggestions. Judges are experienced entrepreneurs, business owners, leaders and Venture Capitalists.
- Focus – Entering the NBBPC can provide the discipline and focus you need to develop and fine-tune a winning, business strategy.
