Successful companies are continuously working to improve their brand by adapting to shifting consumer tastes and delivering effective messages through restyled logos, updated color palettes and refined messaging. What determines when it is time for a makeover? What should be changed? What should stay the same? As a group, this workshop will explore the opportunities and dangers of rebranding using real life examples.

Cara McCarthy Hutchins
Cara McCarthy Hutchins is Principal and Founder of Communications, Ink, a full-service marketing company based in Beverly, MA. Cara is a hands-on entrepreneur who builds brands by creating links between people and experiences. Cara is a frequent lecturer on branding and her work has been awarded numerous Hermes, Davey, Marcomm and Association of Graphic Communications Awards. Prior to founding her own company, Cara worked as the Advertising Manager at State Street Bank & Trust Company, Director of Investor Relations at Presidio Oil Company and a mortgage trader at Salomon Brothers. She has an AB from Vassar College and an MBA from Babson College. Cara lives in Prides Crossing with her family and incorrigible dog.
