Maureen Louise Pomeroy is a business and employment attorney in Amesbury, Massachusetts. She devotes her practice to representing new and evolving businesses and non-profit organizations with the legal issues that they encounter on a day-to-day basis. Maureen assists her clients with drafting corporate formation documents, shareholder and partnership agreements, reviewing and negotiating contracts for vendors, customers, and employees, and acquisition agreements related to the purchasing and selling of a business. She advises clients with locations in multiple states and regularly assists them in navigating the laws in each jurisdiction. In addition to business, Maureen counsels her clients about their responsibilities in employment matters, including wage and hour, harassment, discrimination, disability accommodation, employee handbooks and contracts. She also conducts independent investigations for companies facing allegations of harassment and discrimination in the workplace. Maureen also conducts training and is a regular speaker at seminars. She is an experienced litigator in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
