Christine B. Sullivan
Executive Director

Christine Sullivan, Executive Director of the Enterprise Center comes from a background that encompasses entrepreneurship, economic development, public policy and education. In 1986 she founded Hawthorne Associates,a marketing, advertising and public relations firm specializing in the training/learning industry.

Prior to starting her own business, Christine was Massachusetts Secretary of Consumer Affairs, responsible for consumer advocacy and the oversight of various regulatory agencies. She has also done extensive work in economic development and tourism, and was Chief of Staff in a Congressional office in Washington, DC.

Christine also chaired the Communications Department at Endicott College in Beverly, MA and owned and published a tourist magazine in Salem, MA. She is a professional speaker, seminar developer, leader and course instructor in strategic marketing planning, mass communications, and entrepreneurship. At this time she is a member of the Salem Planning Board and the Salem Redevelopment Authority.

She received a BA from Vassar College and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

 

Laura Swanson, Assistant Director

Laura, Assistant Director, focuses much of her attention on our special initiatives, including non-profit programming, the 128 Venture North Breakfast series, Million Dollar Women Symposium and the North of Boston Business Plan Competition. Her strong operations and management skills were honed as the administrator of a surgical practice, as he owner of her own medical practice services company and as a consultant and project manager to others.
   
   

 

 

 

 

 

Jennifer Lincoln

Marketing Director

Jennifer is responsible for promoting the Enterprise Center's mission of helping to grow businesses on the North Shore of Boston, Ma. She coordinates the Enterprise Center's free business building and development workshops and other events. Jennifer is also the Marketing Director and acting Director for the Creative Economy Initiative, which promotes economic development of the North Shore of Massachusetts through support of creative and innovative organizations and individuals.

Before coming to the Enterpirse Center, Jennifer had spent 10 years as a professional track and field athlete, qualifying for three world Championship and one Olympic team. She holds a B.S. from Tufts University.

   
   


   
   

 Bill Ronan - Facility Care, Operations and Audio Cast Expert
Bill is indespensible at the Enerprise Center. He oversees all facility and operations related issues and makes certain that everything in the Enterprise Center runs smoothly and seemlessly. As testimony to Bill's skills and flexibility, he also is in charge of all audio cast recordings of Enterprise Center workshops.


Scott Gibney - Administrative and Marketing Assistant
Scott recently graduated from Salem State College, studying Business Management. Scott also was a recipient of the Jack Welch Scholarship. He has proven to be an invaluable resource for the Enterprise Center.
